The Messenger of Allah ﷺ taught him fifteen places of prostration in the Quran, three of which are in the Mufassal section, and two are in Surah al-Hajj.
حدثنا محمد بن يحيى حدثنا ابن أبي مريم عن نافع بن يزيد حدثنا الحارث بن سعيد العتقي عن عبد الله بن منين من بني عبد كلال
أن رسول الله ﷺ أقرأه خمس عشرة سجدة في القرآن منها ثلاث في المفصل وفي الحج سجدتين
[Its chain is daif] Abu Dawud narrated it in Sujud Quran, chapter: The elaboration of the chapters on prostration and how many sajdahs are in the Quran, hadith no. 1401, from the hadith of Ibn Abu Maryam, with this wording. Munziri and Nawawi graded it hasan, while Abdul-Haqq and Ibn Qattan Fasi graded it daif. Harith bin Saeed is of unknown status.
