When the Messenger of Allah ﷺ finished circling the House, he came to the station of Ibrahim. Umar said, "Messenger of Allah, this is the station of our father Ibrahim about which Allah said, 'And take the station of Ibrahim as a place of prayer' [Baqarah 2:125]."Walid said, "I asked Malik, 'Did he recite it like this, wattakhidhu?'"Malik replied, "Yes."

لما فرغ رسول الله ﷺ من طواف البيت أتى مقام إبراهيم فقال عمر يا رسول الله هذا مقام أبينا إبراهيم الذي قال الله {واتخذوا من مقام إبراهيم مصلى} قال الوليد فقلت لمالك أهكذا قرأ واتخذوا قال نعم
