Umm Atiya reported,

We were commanded to go out on the day of Eid, so much so that we would bring out the young virgin from her seclusion and even bring out the menstruating women. They would stay behind the people, joining in their takbir and supplicating along with their supplications, hoping for the blessing and purity of that day.
