Hajjaj came in to visit Ibn Umar while I was with him and asked, "How is he?"Ibn Umar replied, "He is well."Hajjaj asked, "Who wounded you?"Ibn Umar answered, "The one who wounded me is the one who ordered weapons to be carried on a day when carrying them is not permitted," meaning Hajjaj himself.
