Ibn Abbas sent word to Ibn Zubayr, right after the pledge of allegiance was first given to him, that no call to prayer was made for the prayer on the day of Eid al-Fitr, and that the sermon comes after the prayer.

أن ابن عباس أرسل إلى ابن الزبير في أول ما بويع له إنه لم يكن يؤذن بالصلاة يوم الفطر إنما الخطبة بعد الصلاة
