The Prophet ﷺ said, "Whoever slaughters before the prayer must repeat it."A man stood up and said, "This is a day on which meat is craved," and he mentioned the situation of his neighbors. The Prophet ﷺ seemed to accept what he said.The man then said, "I have a young goat that is dearer to me than two sheep of meat."So the Prophet ﷺ granted him a concession, but I do not know whether the concession extended to anyone besides him or not.
حدثنا مسدد قال حدثنا إسماعيل عن أيوب عن محمد بن سيرين
قال النبي ﷺ من ذبح قبل الصلاة فليعد فقام رجل فقال هذا يوم يشتهى فيه اللحم وذكر من جيرانه فكأن النبي ﷺ صدقه قال وعندي جذعة أحب إلي من شاتي لحم فرخص له النبي ﷺ فلا أدري أبلغت الرخصة من سواه أم لا
