It was a festival day, and the Abyssinians were performing with shields and spears. Either I asked the Prophet ﷺ or he asked me, "Would you like to watch?"I said, "Yes."So he had me stand behind him, my cheek against his cheek, and he was saying, "Carry on, sons of Arfidah!"When I grew tired, he asked, "Have you had enough?"I said, "Yes."He said, "Then go along."
وكان يوم عيد يلعب السودان بالدرق والحراب فإما سألت النبي ﷺ وإما قال تشتهين تنظرين فقلت نعم فأقامني وراءه خدي على خده وهو يقول دونكم يا بني أرفدة حتى إذا مللت قال حسبك قلت نعم قال فاذهبي
