Sahl bin Saad reported,

There was a woman among us who used to plant chard on the embankments of a small field she owned. On Fridays, she would pull up the chard roots, put them in a pot, and add a handful of barley that she had ground. The chard roots served as the broth's meat.We would return from the Friday prayer and stop by to greet her, and she would bring that food out to us, and we would lap it up. We used to look forward to Fridays just for that meal of hers.
