A man from Banu Salim said, "I used to lead my people, Banu Salim, in prayer. I came to the Prophet ﷺ and said, 'I have lost my eyesight, and the floodwaters cut me off from my people's mosque. I would love it if you came and prayed at a spot in my house so I could take it as a place of prayer.'He replied, 'I will do so, Allah willing.'The Messenger of Allah ﷺ came to me the next morning with Abu Bakr after the day had grown warm. The Prophet ﷺ asked permission to enter, and I granted it to him. He did not sit down before saying, 'Where in your house would you like me to pray?'I pointed out to him the spot where I wished him to pray. He stood, and we lined up behind him. Then he gave the closing salutation, and we did the same when he did."

ثم أحد بني سالم قال كنت أصلي لقومي بني سالم فأتيت النبي ﷺ فقلت إني أنكرت بصري وإن السيول تحول بيني وبين مسجد قومي فلوددت أنك جئت فصليت في بيتي مكانا حتى أتخذه مسجدا فقال أفعل إن شاء الله فغدا علي رسول الله ﷺ وأبو بكر معه بعد ما اشتد النهار فاستأذن النبي ﷺ فأذنت له فلم يجلس حتى قال أين تحب أن أصلي من بيتك فأشار إليه من المكان الذي أحب أن يصلي فيه فقام فصففنا خلفه ثم سلم وسلمنا حين سلم
