Layth narrated to us from Yazid bin Abu Habib and Yazid bin Muhammad, from Muhammad bin Amr bin Halhalah, from Muhammad bin Amr bin Ata, who said that he was sitting with a group of the Companions of the Prophet ﷺ, and they were discussing the prayer of the Prophet ﷺ.Abu Humayd al-Saidi said, "I was the one among you who best remembered the prayer of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ. I saw him, when he said the opening takbir, raise his hands level with his shoulders. When he bowed, he placed his hands firmly on his knees, then bent his back. When he raised his head, he straightened up until every vertebra returned to its place. When he prostrated, he placed his hands on the ground, neither spreading them out flat nor clenching them, and he pointed the tips of his toes toward the qiblah. When he sat after two rakahs, he sat on his left foot and kept his right foot upright. When he sat in the final rakah, he brought his left foot forward, kept the other upright, and sat on his buttocks."Layth heard this from Yazid bin Abu Habib, and Yazid heard it from Muhammad bin Halhalah, and Ibn Halhalah heard it from Ibn Ata.Abu Salih reported from Layth, "every vertebra." Ibn Mubarak reported from Yahya bin Ayub, who said, "Yazid bin Abu Habib narrated to me that Muhammad bin Amr narrated to him, 'every vertebra.'"
حدثنا يحيى بن بكير قال حدثنا الليث عن خالد عن سعيد عن محمد بن عمرو بن حلحلة
وحدثنا الليث عن يزيد بن أبي حبيب ويزيد بن محمد عن محمد بن عمرو بن حلحلة عن محمد بن عمرو بن عطاء أنه كان جالسا مع نفر من أصحاب النبي ﷺ فذكرنا صلاة النبي ﷺ فقال أبو حميد الساعدي أنا كنت أحفظكم لصلاة رسول الله ﷺ رأيته إذا كبر جعل يديه حذاء منكبيه وإذا ركع أمكن يديه من ركبتيه ثم هصر ظهره فإذا رفع رأسه استوى حتى يعود كل فقار مكانه فإذا سجد وضع يديه غير مفترش ولا قابضهما واستقبل بأطراف أصابع رجليه القبلة فإذا جلس في الركعتين جلس على رجله اليسرى ونصب اليمنى وإذا جلس في الركعة الآخرة قدم رجله اليسرى ونصب الأخرى وقعد على مقعدته وسمع الليث يزيد بن أبي حبيب ويزيد من محمد بن حلحلة وابن حلحلة من ابن عطاء قال أبو صالح عن الليث كل فقار وقال ابن المبارك عن يحيى بن أيوب قال حدثني يزيد بن أبي حبيب أن محمد بن عمرو حدثه كل فقار
