The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "On the Day of Resurrection, the believers will be gathered and will say, 'If only we sought someone to intercede for us with our Lord so He might relieve us from this place of ours.'So they will come to Adam and say to him, 'You are Adam, the father of mankind. Allah created you with His own hand, made the angels prostrate to you, and taught you the names of all things. Intercede for us with our Lord so He may relieve us.'He will say to them, 'I am not the one for that,' and he will mention to them the sin he had committed."

قال رسول الله ﷺ يجمع المؤمنون يوم القيامة فيقولون لو استشفعنا إلى ربنا فيريحنا من مكاننا هذا فيأتون آدم فيقولون له أنت آدم أبو البشر خلقك الله بيده وأسجد لك الملائكة وعلمك أسماء كل شيء فاشفع لنا إلى ربنا حتى يريحنا فيقول لهم لست هناكم فيذكر لهم خطيئته التي أصاب
