The Prophet ﷺ said, "When Allah decrees a matter in the heavens, the angels beat their wings in submission to His word, sounding like a chain dragged across a smooth stone."Ali said, others said, "Smooth stone. This pierces through them. Then 'When fear is removed from their hearts, they say, What did your Lord say? They say, The truth, and He is the Most High, the Most Great' [Saba 34:23]."Ali said, Sufyan narrated to us, Amr narrated to us, from Ikrima, from Abu Hurairah, with this report.Sufyan said, Amr said, "I heard Ikrima say, Abu Hurairah narrated to us."Ali said, I asked Sufyan, "Did he say, 'I heard Ikrima say, I heard Abu Hurairah'?"He answered, "Yes."I said to Sufyan, "Someone narrated from Amr, from Ikrima, from Abu Hurairah, attributing it to the Prophet, that he recited it as 'furrigha.'"Sufyan said, "That is how Amr recited it, but I do not know whether he heard it that way or not."Sufyan added, "And that is our reading."
حدثنا علي بن عبد الله حدثنا سفيان عن عمرو عن عكرمة
يبلغ به النبي ﷺ قال إذا قضى الله الأمر في السماء ضربت الملائكة بأجنحتها خضعانا لقوله كأنه سلسلة على صفوان قال علي وقال غيره صفوان ينفذهم ذلك فإذا {فزع عن قلوبهم قالوا ماذا قال ربكم قالوا الحق وهو العلي الكبير} قال علي وحدثنا سفيان حدثنا عمرو عن عكرمة عن أبي هريرة بهذا قال سفيان قال عمرو سمعت عكرمة حدثنا أبو هريرة قال علي قلت لسفيان قال سمعت عكرمة قال سمعت أبا هريرة قال نعم قلت لسفيان إن إنسانا روى عن عمرو عن عكرمة عن أبي هريرة يرفعه أنه قرأ فرغ قال سفيان هكذا قرأ عمرو فلا أدري سمعه هكذا أم لا قال سفيان وهي قراءتنا
