The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "The believer is like a fresh stalk of grain. Its leaves bend whichever way the wind blows it, and when the wind dies down, it stands upright again. In the same way, the believer is bent low by trials. The disbeliever, however, is like a cedar tree, firm and unyielding, until Allah breaks it whenever He wills."

أن رسول الله ﷺ قال مثل المؤمن كمثل خامة الزرع يفيء ورقه من حيث أتتها الريح تكفئها فإذا سكنت اعتدلت وكذلك المؤمن يكفأ بالبلاء ومثل الكافر كمثل الأرزة صماء معتدلة حتى يقصمها الله إذا شاء
