The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "When you call upon Allah, be resolute in your supplication. None of you should say, 'If You wish, then grant me,' for nothing can compel Allah."

قال رسول الله ﷺ إذا دعوتم الله فاعزموا في الدعاء ولا يقولن أحدكم إن شئت فأعطني فإن الله لا مستكره له
