When this verse was revealed, "Say, He is the One able to send punishment upon you from above you" [Anam 6:65], the Prophet ﷺ said, "I seek refuge in Your Face."Then came the words "or from beneath your feet" [Anam 6:65], and the Prophet ﷺ said, "I seek refuge in Your Face."Then came "or to confuse you into factions" [Anam 6:65], and the Prophet ﷺ said, "This is easier."
