The Prophet ﷺ said, "When one of you comes to his bed, let him dust it off with the edge of his garment three times and say, 'In Your name, my Lord, I lay down my side, and by You I raise it. If You take my soul, then forgive it, and if You send it back, then protect it with that by which You protect Your righteous servants.'"Yahya and Bishr bin Mufaddal followed him in narrating it from Ubaydullah, from Saeed, from Abu Hurairah, from the Prophet ﷺ.Zuhayr, Abu Damrah, and Ismail bin Zakariyya added, narrating from Ubaydullah, from Saeed, from his father, from Abu Hurairah, from the Prophet ﷺ.Ibn Ajlan also narrated it from Saeed, from Abu Hurairah, from the Prophet ﷺ.
حدثنا عبد العزيز بن عبد الله حدثني مالك عن سعيد بن أبي سعيد المقبري
عن النبي ﷺ قال إذا جاء أحدكم فراشه فلينفضه بصنفة ثوبه ثلاث مرات وليقل باسمك رب وضعت جنبي وبك أرفعه إن أمسكت نفسي فاغفر لها وإن أرسلتها فاحفظها بما تحفظ به عبادك الصالحين تابعه يحيى وبشر بن المفضل عن عبيد الله عن سعيد عن أبي هريرة عن النبي ﷺ وزاد زهير وأبو ضمرة وإسماعيل بن زكرياء عن عبيد الله عن سعيد عن أبيه عن أبي هريرة عن النبي ﷺ ورواه ابن عجلان عن سعيد عن أبي هريرة عن النبي ﷺ
