The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Nuh will be brought forth on the Day of Resurrection and asked, 'Did you convey the message?'He will reply, 'Yes, my Lord.'Then his people will be asked, 'Did he convey it to you?'They will answer, 'No warner ever came to us.'Allah will say to Nuh, 'Who are your witnesses?'He will reply, 'Muhammad and his community.'So you will be brought forth and you will bear witness."Then the Messenger of Allah ﷺ recited, "And thus We have made you a middle nation" [Baqarah 2:143], explaining that "middle" means just, "that you may be witnesses over mankind and that the Messenger may be a witness over you" [Baqarah 2:143].Jafar bin Awn reported that Amash narrated to us, from Abu Salih, from Abu Saeed Khudri, from the Prophet ﷺ, the same hadith.
