The Prophet ﷺ designated Qarn as the place of ihram for the people of Najd, al-Juhfah for the people of Sham, and Dhul Hulayfah for the people of Madinah.He said, "I heard this from the Prophet ﷺ, and it has reached me that the Prophet ﷺ also said, 'And for the people of Yemen, Yalamlam.'"Iraq was mentioned, and he said, "There was no Iraq at that time."
حدثنا محمد بن يوسف حدثنا سفيان عن عبد الله بن دينار
وقت النبي ﷺ قرنا لأهل نجد والجحفة لأهل الشأم وذا الحليفة لأهل المدينة قال سمعت هذا من النبي ﷺ وبلغني أن النبي ﷺ قال ولأهل اليمن يلملم وذكر العراق فقال لم يكن عراق يومئذ
