I asked Anas, "Did the Messenger of Allah ﷺ declare Madinah a sanctuary?"He replied, "Yes, the area between such-and-such and such-and-such. Its trees are not to be cut. Whoever introduces an innovation in it, upon him is the curse of Allah, the angels, and all people."Asim said, Musa bin Anas informed me that he said, "Or shelters one who introduces an innovation."
