Ibn Abbas mentioned the Mutalaineen, and Abdullah bin Shaddad asked, "Is she the one about whom the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, 'Had I stoned any woman without clear evidence, I would have stoned her'?"Ibn Abbas replied, "No, that was a woman who openly proclaimed her wrongdoing."
