The Prophet ﷺ used to carry dirt with us on the Day of the Confederates, and I saw the dust covering the whiteness of his belly as he was saying:"Were it not for You, we would not have been guided, nor given charity, nor prayed. So send down tranquility upon us, and steady our feet if we meet the enemy. Indeed, those people," and sometimes he would say, "the chiefs, have transgressed against us. When they desire discord, we refuse, we refuse."He would raise his voice with these words.
حدثنا عبدان أخبرني أبي عن شعبة حدثنا أبو إسحاق
كان النبي ﷺ ينقل معنا التراب يوم الأحزاب ولقد رأيته وارى التراب بياض بطنه يقول لولا أنت ما اهتدينا نحن ولا تصدقنا ولا صلينا فأنزلن سكينة علينا إن الألى وربما قال الملا قد بغوا علينا إذا أرادوا فتنة أبينا أبينا يرفع بها صوته
