The Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to visit Umm Haram bint Milhan, who was married to Ubada bin Samit. One day he came to her and she gave him food, then she began searching his head for lice. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ fell asleep, and when he woke he was laughing.Umm Haram said, "I asked him, what makes you laugh, Messenger of Allah?"He answered, "Some of my people were shown to me riding out on the crest of this sea as warriors in the cause of Allah, like kings upon thrones," or he said, "as kings upon thrones." Ishaq was uncertain which.She said, "I asked him, Messenger of Allah, pray to Allah to make me one of them."So the Messenger of Allah ﷺ prayed for her. Then he lay his head down again, and when he woke he was laughing.She said, "I asked, what makes you laugh, Messenger of Allah?"He answered, "Some of my people were shown to me as warriors in the cause of Allah," just as he had said the first time.She said, "I said, Messenger of Allah, pray to Allah to make me one of them."He replied, "You are among the first of them."She sailed on the sea during the time of Muawiya bin Abu Sufyan, and when she came ashore she was thrown from her mount and died.
قالت فقلت ما يضحكك يا رسول الله قال ناس من أمتي عرضوا علي غزاة في سبيل الله يركبون ثبج هذا البحر ملوكا على الأسرة أو مثل الملوك على الأسرة شك إسحاق قالت فقلت يا رسول الله ادع الله أن يجعلني منهم فدعا لها رسول الله ﷺ ثم وضع رأسه ثم استيقظ وهو يضحك فقلت ما يضحكك يا رسول الله قال ناس من أمتي عرضوا علي غزاة في سبيل الله كما قال في الأولى قالت فقلت يا رسول الله ادع الله أن يجعلني منهم قال أنت من الأولين فركبت البحر في زمان معاوية بن أبي سفيان فصرعت عن دابتها حين خرجت من البحر فهلكت
