They came to Abu Saeed Khudri and asked him about the Haruriyya, "Did you hear the Prophet ﷺ mention them?"He replied, "I do not know what the Haruriyya are, but I heard the Prophet ﷺ say, 'There will arise among this nation,' and he did not say 'from it,' 'a people whose prayer you will regard as insignificant compared to your own. They will recite the Quran, but it will not pass beyond their throats. They will pass through the religion as an arrow passes through its prey. The archer then looks at his arrow, at its head, at its shaft, and he wonders about the notch, whether any trace of blood has clung to it.'"
حدثنا محمد بن المثنى حدثنا عبد الوهاب قال سمعت يحيى بن سعيد قال أخبرني محمد بن إبراهيم
أتيا أبا سعيد الخدري فسألاه عن الحرورية أسمعت النبي ﷺ قال لا أدري ما الحرورية سمعت النبي ﷺ يقول يخرج في هذه الأمة ولم يقل منها قوم تحقرون صلاتكم مع صلاتهم يقرءون القرآن لا يجاوز حلوقهم أو حناجرهم يمرقون من الدين مروق السهم من الرمية فينظر الرامي إلى سهمه إلى نصله إلى رصافه فيتمارى في الفوقة هل علق بها من الدم شيء
