An Arabi came to the Prophet ﷺ and asked, "Messenger of Allah, what are the major sins?"He replied, "Associating partners with Allah."The man asked, "Then what?"He said, "Disobedience to one's parents."The man asked, "Then what?"He said, "The false oath that plunges one into sin."I asked, "What is the false oath that plunges one into sin?"He said, "It is the one by which a person seizes the wealth of a Muslim while lying in his oath."
حدثني محمد بن الحسين بن إبراهيم أخبرنا عبيد الله بن موسى أخبرنا شيبان عن فراس عن الشعبي
جاء أعرابي إلى النبي ﷺ فقال يا رسول الله ما الكبائر قال الإشراك بالله قال ثم ماذا قال ثم عقوق الوالدين قال ثم ماذا قال اليمين الغموس قلت وما اليمين الغموس قال الذي يقتطع مال امرئ مسلم هو فيها كاذب
