The Messenger of Allah ﷺ ruled in the case of a miscarried fetus of a woman from Banu Lihyan that the compensation was a male or female slave. Then the woman against whom the compensation had been awarded died, so the Messenger of Allah ﷺ ruled that her inheritance belonged to her sons and her husband, and that the blood-money was the responsibility of her paternal male relatives.

أن رسول الله ﷺ قضى في جنين امرأة من بني لحيان بغرة عبد أو أمة ثم إن المرأة التي قضى عليها بالغرة توفيت فقضى رسول الله ﷺ أن ميراثها لبنيها وزوجها وأن العقل على عصبتها
