We administered medicine to the Prophet ﷺ by force into the side of his mouth during his illness. He said, "Do not force medicine on me." We thought it was just a sick person's dislike of medicine. When he recovered, he said, "Every one of you must have medicine forced into his mouth, except Abbas, for he was not present with you."

لددنا النبي ﷺ في مرضه فقال لا تلدوني فقلنا كراهية المريض للدواء فلما أفاق قال لا يبقى أحد منكم إلا لد غير العباس فإنه لم يشهدكم
