The Prophet ﷺ said to al-Miqdad, "If a believing man conceals his faith among a people of disbelievers, then reveals his faith and you kill him, remember that you yourself used to conceal your faith in Mecca before."
وقال حبيب بن أبي عمرة عن سعيد
قال النبي ﷺ للمقداد إذا كان رجل مؤمن يخفي إيمانه مع قوم كفار فأظهر إيمانه فقتلته فكذلك كنت أنت تخفي إيمانك بمكة من قبل
