I bought Barirah, and the Prophet ﷺ said, "Buy her, for loyalty belongs to the one who frees the slave."A sheep was given to her as charity, and the Prophet ﷺ said, "It is charity for her and a gift for us."Hakam said, "Her husband was a free man." Hakam's statement is mursal.Ibn Abbas said, "I saw him as a slave."

اشتريت بريرة فقال النبي ﷺ اشتريها فإن الولاء لمن أعتق وأهدي لها شاة فقال هو لها صدقة ولنا هدية قال الحكم وكان زوجها حرا وقول الحكم مرسل وقال ابن عباس رأيته عبدا
