I saw the Messenger of Allah ﷺ eating from a shoulder of meat, cutting pieces from it. He was then called to prayer, so he stood up, put down the knife, and prayed without performing ablution.
حدثنا عبد العزيز بن عبد الله قال حدثنا إبراهيم عن صالح عن ابن شهاب قال أخبرني
رأيت رسول الله ﷺ يأكل ذراعا يحتز منها فدعي إلى الصلاة فقام فطرح السكين فصلى ولم يتوضأ
