A man came to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ and said, "I am ruined."The Prophet ﷺ asked, "What is the matter?"The man replied, "I had relations with my wife during Ramadan."The Prophet ﷺ asked, "Can you find a Raqaba to free?"He said, "No."The Prophet ﷺ asked, "Are you able to fast two consecutive months?"He said, "No."The Prophet ﷺ asked, "Are you able to feed sixty poor people?"He said, "No."Then a man from the Ansar came with an araq, which is a large basket containing dates. The Prophet ﷺ said, "Take this and give it away in charity."The man said, "To someone more needy than us, Messenger of Allah? By the One who sent you with the truth, there is no household between the two lava plains of Madinah more in need than us."The Prophet ﷺ then said, "Go and feed it to your family."
حدثنا محمد بن محبوب حدثنا عبد الواحد حدثنا معمر عن الزهري عن حميد بن عبد الرحمن
جاء رجل إلى رسول الله ﷺ فقال هلكت فقال وما ذاك قال وقعت بأهلي في رمضان قال تجد رقبة قال لا قال هل تستطيع أن تصوم شهرين متتابعين قال لا قال فتستطيع أن تطعم ستين مسكينا قال لا قال فجاء رجل من الأنصار بعرق والعرق المكتل فيه تمر فقال اذهب بهذا فتصدق به قال أعلى أحوج منا يا رسول الله والذي بعثك بالحق ما بين لابتيها أهل بيت أحوج منا ثم قال اذهب فأطعمه أهلك
