Kaab bin Ujra reported,

I came to him, meaning the Prophet ﷺ, and he said, "Come closer."So I drew near, and he asked, "Are the lice troubling you?"I replied, "Yes."He said, "Then a ransom of fasting, charity, or sacrifice."Ibn Awn informed me from Ayub, who said, "The fasting is three days, the sacrifice is a sheep, and the poor to be fed are six."
