Anas bin Malik was asked whether the Messenger of Allah ﷺ had taken a ring. He said, "Yes. One night he delayed the night prayer until midnight, and after he had prayed, he turned his face toward us and said, 'The people have prayed and gone to sleep, but you have remained in prayer for as long as you have been waiting for it.'"Anas added, "It is as though I can still see the gleam of his ring."

سئل أنس بن مالك هل اتخذ رسول الله ﷺ خاتما فقال نعم أخر ليلة صلاة العشاء إلى شطر الليل ثم أقبل علينا بوجهه بعد ما صلى فقال صلى الناس ورقدوا ولم تزالوا في صلاة منذ انتظرتموها قال فكأني أنظر إلى وبيص خاتمه
