The Prophet ﷺ said, "There is no prayer more burdensome upon the hypocrites than the dawn prayer and the evening prayer. If they only knew what reward lies in them, they would come to them even if they had to crawl. I have considered ordering the muezzin to call the iqamah, then commanding a man to lead the people in prayer, then taking burning torches and setting fire to the homes of those who have not yet come out for the prayer."
حدثنا عمر بن حفص قال حدثنا أبي قال حدثنا الأعمش قال حدثني أبو صالح
قال النبي ﷺ ليس صلاة أثقل على المنافقين من الفجر والعشاء ولو يعلمون ما فيهما لأتوهما ولو حبوا لقد هممت أن آمر المؤذن فيقيم ثم آمر رجلا يؤم الناس ثم آخذ شعلا من نار فأحرق على من لا يخرج إلى الصلاة بعد
