The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "My example and the example of what Allah has sent me with is like a man who came to a people and said, 'I have seen the army with my own eyes, and I am the naked warner, so flee, flee!' One group obeyed him and slipped away under the cover of night at their ease and were saved, while another group denied him, so the army came upon them in the morning and wiped them out."

قال رسول الله ﷺ مثلي ومثل ما بعثني الله كمثل رجل أتى قوما فقال رأيت الجيش بعيني وإني أنا النذير العريان فالنجا النجاء فأطاعته طائفة فأدلجوا على مهلهم فنجوا وكذبته طائفة فصبحهم الجيش فاجتاحهم
