Malik reported,

We came to the Prophet ﷺ as a group of young men close in age, and we stayed with him for twenty days and nights. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ was merciful and kind. When he sensed that we had begun to long for our families or were homesick, he asked us about those we had left behind, and we told him.He said, "Return to your families and stay among them. Teach them and instruct them," and he mentioned a number of things, some of which I remember and some of which I do not. He continued, "Pray as you have seen me pray. When the time for prayer comes, let one of you give the call to prayer, and let the eldest among you lead the prayer."
