The Prophet ﷺ said, "Every prophet has asked a request," or he said, "Every prophet has a supplication that he made and it was answered. I have reserved my supplication as intercession for my nation on the Day of Resurrection."
وقال لي خليفة قال معتمر سمعت أبي
عن النبي ﷺ قال كل نبي سأل سؤلا أو قال لكل نبي دعوة قد دعا بها فاستجيب فجعلت دعوتي شفاعة لأمتي يوم القيامة
