The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Put out the lamps at night when you go to sleep, close the doors, tie up the waterskins, and cover your food and drink."Hammam said, "I think he also said, 'even if only with a stick laid across it.'"

قال رسول الله ﷺ أطفئوا المصابيح بالليل إذا رقدتم وغلقوا الأبواب وأوكوا الأسقية وخمروا الطعام والشراب قال همام وأحسبه قال ولو بعود يعرضه
