I spent the night at the house of Maymunah while the Prophet ﷺ was with her. When the last third of the night came, or part of it, he sat up, looked toward the sky, and recited, "Indeed, in the creation of the heavens and the earth and the alternation of the night and the day are signs for those of understanding" [Al Imran 3:190].
حدثنا ابن أبي مريم حدثنا محمد بن جعفر قال أخبرني شريك عن كريب
بت في بيت ميمونة والنبي ﷺ عندها فلما كان ثلث الليل الآخر أو بعضه قعد فنظر إلى السماء فقرأ {إن في خلق السموات والأرض واختلاف الليل والنهار لآيات لأولي الألباب}
