Umm Sulaym said, "Messenger of Allah, indeed Allah is not shy of the truth. Does a woman have to perform ghusl if she has a wet dream?"He replied, "Yes, if she sees the fluid."Umm Salama laughed and said, "Does a woman have wet dreams?"The Prophet ﷺ said, "Then how else would the child resemble her?"

أن أم سليم قالت يا رسول الله إن الله لا يستحي من الحق هل على المرأة غسل إذا احتلمت قال نعم إذا رأت الماء فضحكت أم سلمة فقالت أتحتلم المرأة فقال النبي ﷺ فبم شبه الولد
