The Messenger of Allah ﷺ visited a household from the Ansar and ate some food with them. When he was about to leave, he ordered that a spot in the house be sprinkled with water, then a mat was spread over it. He prayed on it and supplicated for them.

أن رسول الله ﷺ زار أهل بيت من الأنصار فطعم عندهم طعاما فلما أراد أن يخرج أمر بمكان من البيت فنضح له على بساط فصلى عليه ودعا لهم
