I came to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ with my father, wearing a yellow shirt. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Sanah, sanah." Abdullah explained that this means "beautiful" in Ethiopian.She said, "I went to play with the seal of prophethood, and my father scolded me. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, 'Leave her alone.' Then the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, 'Wear it out and replace it, then wear it out and replace it, then wear it out and replace it.'"Abdullah said, "She lived on," referring to how long she remained alive.
حدثنا حبان أخبرنا عبد الله عن خالد بن سعيد عن أبيه
أتيت رسول الله ﷺ مع أبي وعلي قميص أصفر قال رسول الله ﷺ سنه سنه قال عبد الله وهي بالحبشية حسنة قالت فذهبت ألعب بخاتم النبوة فزبرني أبي قال رسول الله ﷺ دعها ثم قال رسول الله ﷺ أبلي وأخلقي ثم أبلي وأخلقي ثم أبلي وأخلقي قال عبد الله فبقيت حتى ذكر يعني من بقائها
