The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "The evil eye is real," and he forbade tattooing.Ibn Bashshar narrated to me, Ibn Mahdi narrated to us, Sufyan narrated to us, who said, I mentioned to Abdul-Rahman bin Abis the hadith of Mansur, from Ibrahim, from Alqama, from Abdullah.He replied, "I heard it from Umm Yaqub, from Abdullah," similar to the hadith of Mansur.

قال رسول الله ﷺ العين حق ونهى عن الوشم حدثني ابن بشار حدثنا ابن مهدي حدثنا سفيان قال ذكرت لعبد الرحمن بن عابس حديث منصور عن إبراهيم عن علقمة عن عبد الله فقال سمعته من أم يعقوب عن عبد الله مثل حديث منصور
