Muawiya came to Medina on his final visit and delivered a sermon to us. He brought out a clump of hair and said, "I never thought anyone did this except the Jews. The Prophet ﷺ called it falsification," meaning the woman who adds extensions to hair.

قدم معاوية المدينة آخر قدمة قدمها فخطبنا فأخرج كبة من شعر قال ما كنت أرى أحدا يفعل هذا غير اليهود إن النبي ﷺ سماه الزور يعني الواصلة في الشعر
