My family sent me to Umm Salama, the wife of the Prophet ﷺ, with a cup of water. Israil held up three fingers to indicate a small container in which there were some hairs from the Prophet ﷺ. Whenever someone was struck by the evil eye or some other affliction, they would send their water vessel to her. I peered into the small bell-shaped container and saw reddish hairs inside.

أرسلني أهلي إلى أم سلمة زوج النبي ﷺ بقدح من ماء وقبض إسرائيل ثلاث أصابع من قصة فيه شعر من شعر النبي ﷺ وكان إذا أصاب الإنسان عين أو شيء بعث إليها مخضبه فاطلعت في الجلجل فرأيت شعرات حمرا
