She informed her that the Prophet ﷺ was at her home, and there was an effeminate man in the house. He said to Abdullah, the brother of Umm Salama, "Abdullah, if Allah grants you victory over Taif tomorrow, I will guide you to the daughter of Ghaylan, for she comes forward with four and turns away with eight."The Prophet ﷺ then said, "These men must not enter upon you women."Abu Abdullah said, "Comes forward with four" refers to the four folds on her belly, by which she comes forward. His words "and turns away with eight" refer to the ends of these four folds, because they wrap around to her sides until they meet. He said "with eight" rather than "with eight" in the masculine form, even though the singular "end" is masculine, because he did not say "eight ends."

أخبرتها أن النبي ﷺ كان عندها وفي البيت مخنث فقال لعبد الله أخي أم سلمة يا عبد الله إن فتح الله لكم غدا الطائف فإني أدلك على بنت غيلان فإنها تقبل بأربع وتدبر بثمان فقال النبي ﷺ لا يدخلن هؤلاء عليكن قال أبو عبد الله تقبل بأربع وتدبر يعني أربع عكن بطنها فهي تقبل بهن وقوله وتدبر بثمان يعني أطراف هذه العكن الأربع لأنها محيطة بالجنبين حتى لحقت وإنما قال بثمان ولم يقل بثمانية وواحد الأطراف وهو ذكر لأنه لم يقل ثمانية أطراف
