Anas was asked whether the Prophet ﷺ had taken a signet ring. He replied that one night the Prophet ﷺ delayed the night prayer until midnight, then he turned his face toward us. It is as if I can still see the gleam of his ring. He said, "The people have already prayed and gone to sleep, but you have remained in prayer as long as you have been waiting for it."

سئل أنس هل اتخذ النبي ﷺ خاتما قال أخر ليلة صلاة العشاء إلى شطر الليل ثم أقبل علينا بوجهه فكأني أنظر إلى وبيص خاتمه قال إن الناس قد صلوا وناموا وإنكم لم تزالوا في صلاة ما انتظرتموها
