The Messenger of Allah ﷺ prayed in a patterned cloak of his that had markings on it. He glanced at its markings during the prayer, and when he gave the closing salutation he said, "Take this cloak of mine to Abu Jahm, for it just distracted me from my prayer, and bring me Abu Jahm's plain cloak." This was Abu Jahm bin Hudhayfah bin Ghanim, of Banu Adi bin Kaab.
