Trustworthy men testified before me, and the most trustworthy of them in my view was Umar, that the Prophet ﷺ forbade praying after the dawn prayer until the sun has risen, and after the afternoon prayer until it sets.Musaddad narrated to us, saying Yahya narrated to us, from Shuba, from Qatada, who said, I heard Abu al-Aliyah report from Ibn Abbas, who said, "Some people related this to me."

شهد عندي رجال مرضيون وأرضاهم عندي عمر أن النبي ﷺ نهى عن الصلاة بعد الصبح حتى تشرق الشمس وبعد العصر حتى تغرب حدثنا مسدد قال حدثنا يحيى عن شعبة عن قتادة سمعت أبا العالية عن ابن عباس قال حدثني ناس بهذا
