A silk garment was presented as a gift to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ. He put it on and prayed in it, then turned away and pulled it off forcefully, as if he disliked it, and said, "This is not fitting for the God-conscious."Abdullah bin Yusuf followed him in narrating this from Layth, and others said, "a silk garment."
حدثنا قتيبة بن سعيد حدثنا الليث عن يزيد بن أبي حبيب عن أبي الخير
أهدي لرسول الله ﷺ فروج حرير فلبسه ثم صلى فيه ثم انصرف فنزعه نزعا شديدا كالكاره له ثم قال لا ينبغي هذا للمتقين تابعه عبد الله بن يوسف عن الليث وقال غيره فروج حرير
