Abu Bakra reported,

The sun was eclipsed while we were with the Prophet ﷺ. He rose, dragging his garment in haste, until he reached the mosque. The people gathered, and he led them in two cycles of prayer. When the eclipse cleared, he turned to us and said, "The sun and the moon are two of Allah's signs. When you see any of this, pray and call upon Allah until it is removed."
